When GeoTv started ”Yeh Zindagi Hey” ( produced by film fame Saud and his wife Javeria), It had a good start and was a breath of fresh air after overly glossy dramas ,far from the reality at that time.
However it turned in to a very poor effort afterwards. Dubai episodes were already a total unnecessary drag……. later it turned in to a cheap stage drama, with lots of known comedians smart mouthing and using discriminatory words for each other . It is loud and is in bad taste….it seem more like making fun of poor and uneducated class., instead of any understanding for them as a reality.
Script is gone , characters disappear ,but some how drama is still on air. And may bring rating down for some old actors with it too.
It is time to say Adios! “yzht “team.
Papa Cheeko or woh…
This seems like a good season for sitcoms, first “Nadaniyan” from Nawaz Baloch family, and then “Papa Cheeko aur Woh”( name can be in different order) from the Khoosat family.
This is also interesting to see how the second generation of T.V. artists is turning more creative and making Pakistani T.V. history. Both are good entertainment.
Where “Nadaniyan” is refreshing… the other one is very spontaneous and timing is very good –which usually is a very important factor in comedy. Direction is from Kanwal K, means an other family member of Irfan Khoosat.
Jia Ali is hilarious in comedy role of a ghost wife. This may be her best work ever. Sarmad Khoosat always brings something good .Irfan khoosat`s acting seems effortless. “Nadaniyan” brought out Danish Nawaz as a good comedy actor.
