“Manchalay”@ Hum TV

Hum Tvhave some thing refreshing about its telecast , which keeps viewers glued to this channel… recent Drama Manchalay with good cast and excellent direction by Roomi Insha , is most entertaining…
Serious issues addressed with humor.
Qavi khan is handling his role well…. so is Seemi as his wife.
Farhan Ali Agha is may be doing his best performance ever…. as an insecure husband who appears nerdy but wanted more glamour in his wife… at time he is hilarious.
Sanam Baloch , Hina Dilpazeer and two” Bahoos “are excellent… script is good and is at good pace since from the beginning… Whole cast is very justified.

Above mentioned reality show is a good concept for our younger generation,,, there are so many talented people who might get to show their acting skills…and become our new Shan.
Hunt is on for a Hero for Syed Noor’s movie.
Programme is hosted by Faisal Quraishi, and Judged by Raisham, Syed Noor, and Afzal( rambo fame) they are doing their job well… over all very entertaining and interesting presentation …. some time we get to see some really funny characters too.
Some participants showed” namastey styled thanks” to judges… which is usually because they just opened their eyes in last two decades or so and while watching Indian channels all the time, to understand “that “was a thing only belongs” there” not” needed here”.
That is the down side of media ,people do get influenced right or wrong both reasons…
Cartoons @Geo TV

This segment is boring as an old record and have no timing or sense of humor behind it.
Dialect, dialogue and script are usually weightless…Despite some interesting topics there is no punch line or spontaneity in this telecast ever..

A beautiful effort to depict the culture of Pakistanis of Bangladeshi descent. Seema Ghazal has raised the bar for herself. Casting, production every little detail is played well .
Fahad Mustafa, and Faisal Quraishi, Parveen Akber are amazing….they look the part.
Raisham, for the first time, is doing a non-glam role very well.

Most probably this is among, THE most known and longer running programmes @ our private TV channels……… Host is famous” Suhail Wariach”….. He got really popular first for his unique style of asking questions… (He was interesting since the start)…. But he got more known as “Hum sab Umeed sey “kept making his parodies… they are hilarious.
“Aik Din Geo Key Satth “brought out some very diverse personalities in front of our TV screens, from actress Reema to Naseem Wali Khan, and Wasi Zafar….. and list goes on…. he will go to their homes and interview them in His very Casual way…… His style of interviewing did set a new trend for other anchors…

Every morning most of our TV channels will show some News analysis done by their experts,…. and why not …… our land is such a breeding ground for News, even entertainment channels can not avoid getting involved in serious programming …
Pehla Safha is a good presentation and “Paras” as an anchor conducted well…. “Sama TV” has earned a good name regarding social and serious programming in a very short time.
Atiqa O…..some time witty

Atiqa Odho Seems to get better at her comedy effort than her other ventures…. “Atiqa O“is an interesting sitcom…. at times it gets very witty and spontaneous. She looks the part as an experienced actress, play” Atiqa O”…….Still this sitcom needs to get a constant flow of theme. …………………In matter of sitcoms ” Nadaniyan ” at GEO by actors duo Yasir Nawaz and Nida, is good ….. especially their jingle and brother is hilarious as a a freeloader.
Amor-ay-not Am-ohr!-Talking Ice cream

With its upbeat, overly colorful (almost psychedelic) ads–‘Amore’ ice cream attacks not only the eyes but the ears!
I have an issue with the way the brand, Amore, is being pronounced.
As it is spelled A-m-o-r-e–why on earth is it being repeatedly pronounced as Ahm-ohr?!
The proper pronunciation, as this word belongs to the Romance language family–such as Italian and French– is Ahm-ohr-ay.
I wish the ad firm had done their homework!
—–
Oh and another thing–have you paid attention to how jingle, with corresponding words flashing on screen, talks about a pigeon-kabooter and then some flying?
What does flying have to do with a new brand of ice cream? or any ice cream , for that matter?
Is there something ‘in’ the icecream that makes one want to fly? 😛
I wonder!
Note to the lovely people at Amore Icecream: the last bit is a joke–do take it that way 🙂
