With its upbeat, overly colorful (almost psychedelic) ads–‘Amore’ ice cream attacks not only the eyes but the ears!
I have an issue with the way the brand, Amore, is being pronounced.
As it is spelled A-m-o-r-e–why on earth is it being repeatedly pronounced as Ahm-ohr?!
The proper pronunciation, as this word belongs to the Romance language family–such as Italian and French– is Ahm-ohr-ay.
I wish the ad firm had done their homework!

Oh and another thing–have you paid attention to how jingle, with corresponding words flashing on screen, talks about a pigeon-kabooter and then some flying?
What does flying have to do with a new brand of ice cream? or any ice cream , for that matter?
Is there something ‘in’ the icecream that makes one want to fly? 😛
I wonder!
Note to the lovely people at Amore Icecream: the last bit is a joke–do take it that way 🙂
